Venue

The workshop will be held in the NEF building at the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur.

The observatory is located on Mont Gros mountain above Nice. You can reach following these steps:

1) You have to go to the train station Riquier, located here

2) A navette service for the participants will be available from Riquier to the observatory the following dates:

• Monday 12 evening:

1. Observatory to Riquier departure at 18.30

• Tuesday 13 morning and evening:

1. Riquier to Observatory departure at 9.00 and
2. Obsevatory to Riquier departure at 18.00

• Wednesday 14 morning: 

1. Riquier to Observatory departure at 9.00

• Thursday 15 morning and evening: 

1. Riquier to Observatory departure at 9.00 and
2. Obsevatory to Riquier departure at 17.00

• Friday 16 morning: 

1. Riquier to Observatory departure at 9.00

For all other needs, you may also take the city bus number 84 (click here fot the timetable) getting in/off at the bus stop "Observatoire" (about 10 minutes by bus from Riquier) and mount the road towards the observatory. You can ask at the reception where the NEF building is located or look at the map. You have to count 10-15 minutes walking from the bus stop.

Otherwise, you can climb the hill to the observatory crossing the very beautiful Regional Parc Vinegrier. The directions are here in french
